This document sets out the terms and conditions between Dixon Consulting LLC and you when you register for any event or conference organized by Dixon Consulting. By registering for an event or conference organized by Dixon Consulting, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. You should read this document carefully.
Dixon Consulting reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any amended terms and conditions will be posted on this website. Applicable from October 1, 2019.
Refund Policy
If you are not able to attend an event, we will refund your full deposit up to ten days prior to the event. Refunds are not offered less than ten days prior to the event.
If you would like to transfer your registration (have another person attend in your place using your registration fee), please contact us at 503.715.7535 as soon as possible; we can honor transfer requests up to 24 hours in advance of the event.
Refund requests should be sent to info@katedixon.org for processing. We strive to respond to any refund requests within 5 business days.
Event Cancellation
If, for unforeseen circumstances, the event must be cancelled, we will notify participants as soon as possible, and we will offer to refund the full amount of the registration fee or have your registration fee applied to another Dixon Consulting product or service.
Intellectual Property
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content contained within the website and supplied or discussed at any and all events shall remain at all times owned by us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorized by us.
Use of Personal Data
Dixon Consulting will not share your address, e-mail address, credit card information or personal information to any third party without your permission. You hereby give your consent for Dixon Consulting to store the following types of data as a profile for internal purposes:
- Data collected when registering for events.
- Voluntary disclosures when participating in online surveys.
- If you have opted-in to receive email communication about related events, you give consent for Dixon Consulting to analyze and use the data for the purpose of targeted advertising communications to you on relevant topics and products.
- If you have provided your mobile telephone number, you consent to Dixon Consulting to contact you by SMS in relation to events for which you are registering an expression of interest.
- You acknowledge that your data may be used for marketing purposes by Dixon Consulting to contact you by phone or email to ascertain your views on our services.
- You furthermore consent to the mathematical and statistical analysis of your personal data for advertising purposes (scoring).
- You also give your consent for your data to be updated and supplemented with additional data.
- Additionally, you give your consent for Dixon Consulting to collect data relating to you personally from public domain sources and to store and analyze these along with your personal data that are already under the control of Dixon Consulting.
- Dixon Consulting has free lifetime use of any image or video content created by attendees and staff at events. You consent to photographic, video, and sound recording as attendees at any and all events.

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, Dixon Consulting cannot guarantee its absolute security and cannot accept any liability where the security of your Personal Information is compromised. The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
Indemnity
You agree to be fully responsible for (and fully indemnify us against) all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, suffered by us and arising out of any breach of the terms by you or any other liabilities incurred by us arising out of your use of the website, or use by any other person accessing the website using your PC or internet access account, or by your attendance at any event.
